Expanding a successful retail hub
We’re pleased to share the successful completion of the Emerald Hills Shopping Village Stage 2 extension, handed over in mid-December. Having delivered the original shopping village in 2018, we were excited to be asked back to bring this next stage to life, strengthening the retail offering for the growing community.
With a focus on collaboration and efficiency, this project was secured under an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) agreement, allowing us to refine the design, optimise buildability, and drive value for all stakeholders. The result is a seamless expansion featuring three new buildings, 16 tenancies including large format retail & food and beverage outlets.
Throughout the ECI phase, our team, worked closely with the client to streamline the process, ensuring cost-effective solutions and a smooth path from concept to completion. This proactive approach not only delivered a high-quality result but ensured the project remained on budget and program, despite external approval challenges.
The success of this project highlights the value of early collaboration, transparent communication, and strong partnerships.
