Celebrating 20 Years of Daryl McGrath

We are celebrating 20 years of Daryl McGrath, our QLD Operations Manager, this month!

Daryl began his journey with Mainbrace as a Project Manager in NSW. Some of his most notable retail construction projects include Lane Cove Market Square, Gowrie Street Mall, The Ponds Shopping Centre, and his final project in NSW, leading the successful completion of Mainbrace’s largest project to date, Narellan Town Centre.

In 2017, Daryl and his family relocated to QLD. He joined the QLD team as the Construction Manager and has been an invaluable member from the moment he arrived. In 2020, the team recognised his contributions, voting him QLD Employee of the Year.

Daryl’s straightforward and honest nature makes him a well-respected team member. He always leads by example, is approachable, and offers advice and support readily. He is a trusted sounding board for the wider team.

Daryl genuinely enjoys mentoring younger staff, sharing his extensive construction knowledge and experience, of which there is plenty. He is unselfish with his time, and our teams are better for it.

We thank Daryl for two decades of hard work and all the laughs along the way. Mainbrace is a better place for your input.
