Costco Ardeer

Our journey commenced with a momentous groundbreaking ceremony in February 2024 in recognition of our longstanding 10-year relationship with Costco, marking the beginning of substantial progress in civil works.

We began with the completion of an early works contract, primarily involving the demolition of the old Powercor/Citipower Depot and Office Facility. We enlisted a civil contractor to begin work concurrently with the demolition, aiming to kickstart the main construction contract. This allowed Costco to expedite its opening.

Situated at a prominent location intersecting two major roads in Victoria—the M80 and Ballarat Road—the project has garnered lots of positive attention. Despite encountering challenging ground conditions and extensive interactions with various authorities, the project team has persevered, positioning the project strongly.

Looking ahead, we are excited about the progress in the coming weeks, particularly the installation of the warehouse structure, which will be prominently visible to all passersby.

Thanks to the wonderful teamwork between Costco and Mainbrace, we’re making great strides in meeting tight deadlines for handover and early access.
