In the heart of our city, a significant project has been unfolding, setting the stage for a vibrant transformation of Kenmore Village for Jen Retail Properties.
The retail construction project entails a staged redevelopment of the northern end of the shopping centre. Amidst the excitement lies the reality of operating within a live environment—a challenge we’ve embraced many times in retail construction. The project encompasses the establishment of a standalone Mitre 10 tenancy, the repurposing of the existing library building undercroft, the relocation of tenants, and demolition of the existing two-story northern mall alongside specialty shops and offices.
Stage 2 recently commenced which involves the remodel of the new Northern Mall entry and revamped car parking facilities. This is set to redefine the landscape of the centre. These enhancements come with their own set of challenges, particularly the constrained access within this live environment.
