Mainbrace Shines at Queensland MBA Awards
Celebrating innovation and excellence in retail construction
We’re excited to share some fantastic news! Mainbrace has been honoured with awards in the ‘Retail Facilities over $5 million’ category across two regions at this year’s Master Builders Queensland’s Housing & Construction Awards. A special shout-out goes to our latest projects, including the Bunnings store in Hervey Bay and, notably, the Caboolture Shopping Village.
Spotlight on Caboolture Shopping Village: The newly inaugurated Caboolture Shopping Village, nestled in northern Brisbane, is anchored by a sprawling 3,800sqm Coles supermarket, complemented by a Liquorland, Chemist Warehouse, and 11 other specialty shops.
What makes us especially proud? The Village’s forward-thinking sustainability features. Boasting a 99kWh solar array and two cutting-edge electric vehicle charging stations, it’s leading the charge on green innovation. Moreover, our on-site strategies helped reduce the environmental footprint with a unique ‘cut to fill’ earthworks solution.
Despite the challenges, including 14 weeks of unforeseen weather disruptions, we delivered the project 2.5 weeks ahead of the planned schedule. And as a cherry on top, we also crafted a brand-new KFC restaurant just in time for the festive season last year!
A significant part of this project’s success stems from close collaboration amongst all stakeholders including Eildon Capital Group, Artro Management and Collins Food Group and our enduring partnership with Coles.
A Bright Road Ahead: This award and project have not only amplified our reputation but have also deepened our connections with project partners, opening doors to more national ventures.
