Mainbrace Steps Up in Coastrek QLD
Walking the talk for the Heart Foundation
Coastrek is an initiative Mainbrace has participated in previously. In 2023, we took it to the next level. It’s a great way to get some exercise, connect with our teammates away from the office or the work site, strengthen relationships with our project partners, and raise money for some wonderful, worthwhile causes in the process.
This year we had five teams – 20 people in total – lace up for the 30km Coastrek walk in Queensland. Starting at Mudjimba, the teams enjoyed a picture-perfect Queensland day as they walked to Noosa Woods. Everyone played a valuable part in raising over $25,000.
Our five Queensland teams in Coastrek 2023 supplemented Mainbrace teams in New South Wales and Victoria. Altogether, we had 100 Mainbracers participate, putting aside their aching legs and blisters to walk a combined 3,240km and raising a total of $103,936 for The Heart Foundation. Well done all!
