Nazih Taleb, Head of Estimating
Long before work begins on site, an estimating team has already spent months working through the numbers, risks and options behind the project.
Nazih Taleb has been doing exactly that at Mainbrace for close to 15 years. He joined as an Estimator and today leads the NSW team as Estimating Manager. Nazih and his team work through project pricing before construction begins, testing costs and looking at where value engineering can provide another way to achieve the required outcome without compromising on quality.
For Nazih, that means going beyond the first workable solution. It means interrogating the numbers, considering the alternatives and giving each project the benefit of what he has learned across almost 15 years at Mainbrace.
By the time a project reaches site, a lot of the thinking has already happened.
