NSW State Update
Strong momentum in Q1
We’ve kicked off the financial year with strong momentum, launching several new projects and reaching key milestones on others.
A significant update is the merger of our Interiors and Supermarket Refurbishment teams into a new division, now known as Small Works. This consolidation streamlines communication with a single point of contact, while maintaining the exceptional & efficient service you’ve come to expect.
Small Works is already engaged in various exciting developments, including Woolworths at Wadalba, Brookvale CFC, Medowie, Kings Langley, and Top Ryde. They have initiated projects for major clients like David Jones, Region Group, Ikea, Costco, Coles, and Vicinity, alongside a McDonald’s project in Leppington.
While retail construction remains the core of our workload, in the logistics sector, we’re pleased to announce the start of construction on a second facility (15,000m2) for Frasers at Kemps Creek. With close to 100 logistics projects completed our most recent being Logos Warehouse in Prestons, we’ve become an active participant in the mid to large scale industrial new build market.
Our other larger projects, such as Ampol Eastern Creek, The Gables, and Probiotec, are progressing well, all on track to meet key milestones. We’ve also recently completed two Coles refurbishments in North Sydney and Surrey Hills, along with upgrades to the amenities at Macquarie Centre for Dexus.
We’re also thrilled to announce that two of our team members, Hannah Cotterell and Crystal Anson, have been selected for the Property Council of Australia’s 500 Women in Property program.
Finally, as part of our ongoing sustainability initiatives, we continue to expand our portfolio of Green Star-construction accredited projects, the knowledge of our construction teams and the support we can offer our clients.
