Building retail logistics enhances industrial expertise
We’ve built our reputation on delivering exceptional retail spaces for most of Australia’s leading retailers. With 80% of our portfolio dedicated to retail construction, our commitment to sector expertise and innovation has positioned us as the leader in this space.
We then started building logistics facilities for our retail clients. Logistics and Industrial warehousing now contribute close to 20% of our revenue and we’re set to keep growing.
Over the last few years, we’ve delivered over 45 logistics & industrial projects. From capex updates to extensions and then large builds, these have ranged in size from $125k to $60M. Since inception we’ve completed over 150 industrial or logistics projects.
While we remain committed to retail construction, we are deliberately building expertise in industrial & logistics and searching for ways to innovate across both, making us a strong & viable alternative to some of the more established industrial builders.
WHAT’S BEEN HAPPENING ACROSS OUR STATE PORTFOLIOS?
NSW
We are running multiple logistics project teams on the ground. Our largest logistics project to date, the 35,960m² Probiotec warehouse for Frasers Barings JV, is on track for completion by year-end.
Additionally, we’ve recently commenced another project nearby for Frasers at Lot 8, The Yards, for PIP Australia, which includes a new warehouse, office space, and recessed docks.
In September, we successfully handed over a Prestons warehouse, marking our first project with ESR Australia & NZ.
QLD
Our team completed a major roof upgrade at the Coles distribution centre in Heathwood for Mapletree, from replacing roofing screws (350,000 of them) to skylights and make good works.
We have also recently completed a large, specialised distribution complex in Wakerley for a significant Queensland home grown company.
VIC
In VIC, we secured a new project with Centennial Property Group in Tottenham, which includes a new 4,500m² warehouse and office, plus a refurbishment of an existing 3,600m² warehouse. This follows on from the success of Forrester Distribution Centre project in St Marys, NSW.
