Nexus Court redevelopment
At Mainbrace, while retail construction is our specialty, working closely with our clients to deliver great projects is ultimately why we exist. Salta Properties is one of those valued clients and our recent completion of the Nexus Court redevelopment, centred around a sleek and sophisticated office complex upgrade, demonstrates our versatility.
The project reached practical completion in July and was executed across various tenancies in three buildings – 2, 4, and 6 Nexus Court – all within Nexus Corporate Park in Mulgrave.
For all three buildings, Mainbrace created an all-weather outdoor environment with communal tiered seating, landscaped areas and timber canopies. It’s an addition which draws on the essence of Melbourne’s café culture, creating a space for workers to enjoy right at the doorstep of their office.
Inside, 2 and 4 Nexus Court were given a fresh, modern look with a refurbishment focused on the lobbies and amenities across all four levels. At 6 Nexus Court, Mainbrace constructed a brand-new boardroom featuring an integrated external terrace design, providing a seamless connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces.
With multiple stakeholders including numerous tenants occupying offices across the three buildings, a major challenge was to manage functional access for everyone throughout the duration of works. Our experience in structuring projects within live operating environments enabled tenants to operate with minimal disruption while their offices received a state-of-the-art upgrade.
