VIC Employee of the Year
Tom Burn
In March last year, Tom stepped into the role of VIC Small Works Manager, taking on the challenge of growing and developing the team. After a huge 12 months, his hard work and leadership have been recognised with the VIC Employee of the Year Award, a well-deserved honour, voted on by the entire company.
Tom has been with Mainbrace for seven years, consistently stepping up and delivering outstanding results. Over the past year alone, he has led the team through some of our biggest milestones, including completing Coles Chadstone – our largest supermarket refurbishment project in VIC and across Mainbrace. Now, with the Chirnside Park Shopping Centre refresh for GPT underway, Tom continues to set the standard for excellence in Small Works.
So, what is Small Works? It’s a dedicated division that brings together our Supermarket Refurbishments and Interiors teams, optimising resources to deliver small-scale projects with greater efficiency and a seamless client experience. Specialising in projects from $100K to $5M, Small Works covers everything from supermarket refurbishments, fitouts, and rebrands to roll-outs, shopping centre upgrades, and small greenfield builds, all with the same trusted professionalism and expertise our clients rely on.
Tom’s dedication, leadership, and commitment to the team’s success have been instrumental in shaping this division and delivering big results on smaller projects. Congratulations, Tom, this recognition is a testament to everything you’ve achieved!
