VIC Employee of the Year
Nick Denham
Nick Denham joined Mainbrace in 2019 as a Cadet. Six years later, he’s been recognised as the 2026 Victorian Employee of the Year.
That progression hasn’t been fast-tracked. It’s been built on real exposure, increasingly complex projects, increasing responsibility, and a consistent willingness to take things on as the work demanded it.
Over the past year, Nick played a central role on Woolworths CFC North Melbourne, one of the largest and most complex projects delivered in Victoria. Multiple interfaces, evolving site conditions, constant coordination across client, subcontractors and site teams, all while keeping program and quality on track. It’s the kind of project that tests a project manager, and Nick came through it well.
He’s now leading delivery on HomeCo Diggers Rest, an 18-tenancy neighbourhood shopping centre anchored by Coles and Liquorland, serving a growing local community. A project that calls on the full range of what a good project manager needs to do.
Six years from Cadet to project leader. That kind of commitment, loyalty and project experience is exactly what this recognition reflects.
