VIC State Update
Retail projects taking shape across Victoria
A new chapter at Chadstone
No retail destination in Australia is as busy as Chadstone Shopping Centre. Our Victorian team has just started work there on a significant upgrade to the luxury precinct for Vicinity, including major base build works for some of the world’s best known luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Dior and Hermès.
It isn’t our first time at Chadstone. We refurbished the Coles supermarket there in 2024 and completed some minor works for Woolworths before that.
Progress at our Neighbourhood Shopping Centres
Chadstone will take shape over time, but meanwhile, our largest project in VIC, East Sunbury Village is working to a much tighter deadline, ensuring they’re ready to open in time for Christmas trading. Our other two neighbourhood shopping centres, Coles Diggers Rest and Coles Warragul are both on track to open early 2027.
Built for how people shop now
We all know people nowadays shop in more ways than ever. Some want their order at the door within hours, others still want to walk the aisles and see a product before they buy it.
For the shoppers who order online, we recently completed the Woolworths Customer Fulfilment Centre in Broadmeadows. We’re now helping fit out the ALDI Automated Distribution Centre in Truganina, with work running through to late 2027.
For the shoppers who’d rather browse in person, we recently completed Harvey Norman Bendigo and the Fountain Gate Super Centre for BWP. Both centres were launched in October.
Small Works – long-reach & repeat clientele
We’ve just completed our first store for Sephora in Victoria, at Werribee. It’s our tenth project with Sephora, after nine stores in NSW.
Works have also started at McDonald’s St Germain, our 20th project with McDonald’s across NSW, Queensland and Victoria.
