World Creativity & Innovation Day

Today, April 21st, is the 20th anniversary of World Creativity and Innovation Day. A day to remind and encourage people to use their creativity to make the world a better place.
#WCID is now a United Nations International Day of Observance, encouraging people to use their imagination and creativity in problem solving for all issues related to achieving the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals (USG’s).
In March this year, we launched our 2025 Mainbrace Strategy. An ambitious and exciting strategy that we are really proud of. As part of our strategy, we looked at the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and we recognised that we need to play our part in protecting the future of our planet. Our strategy seeks to make an impact across nine areas of the 17 USG’s.
Creativity drives innovation, and innovation is the catalyst for positive change in the world. We are encouraging and challenging ourselves as a business and as individuals to be creative in our thinking, so that we really can make a difference.
