A successful career, done the right way
The way we see it, the most crucial step in construction is building a solid foundation.

A culture that really means something
Construction companies are a lot like people. There’s plenty that can look good on the surface, but it’s what’s underneath that actually counts. Especially when times get tough.
At Mainbrace, we mean what we say and we do what we promise.
You’ll get next level care and support from all corners of the company – in return for all you bring, we’ll have your back through thick and thin.
You’ll also build real, lasting relationships that grow stronger over time. We’re not fans of ego and politics. We are fans of honesty, teamwork and fun. Here, you’ll get plenty of that on the daily – and more.
A great company, building an even better future
Flexibility. Quality of life. Diversity and inclusion. The industry has made some progress but there’s much more work to do – and we’re no different.
We all know about the long hours and hard work in construction, and there’s no doubt our teams love going beyond.
In return, we do all we can to support you, and we’re investing ahead of the pack to find new ways of working – to ensure a better balance and an industry where everyone can thrive.
Every new Mainbracer brings a chance to improve
Plenty of us have been here a while. That brings great advantages, but we also don’t want to get stale. That’s why we’re more focused than ever on adding new ideas and fresh perspectives to the know-how and connection of our incredible team.
Benefits
We value the uniqueness of our people and all they bring. So, in return for everything you contribute, we also support you with a broad range of inclusive benefits:
On top of your salary and more, all employees participate in our generous profit share or bonus schemes and receive income protection.
Your salary & more
We provide flexibility, a generous parental leave program, and extra annual leave to support a well-rounded life. Recognising that while our work is meaningful, we understand it's just one aspect of your life.

You'll quickly see why membership on our social committee is highly regarded.
Social
Giving back is an important part of who we are. Through our Community Program, MbRACE, we give every Mainbracer paid volunteer time to assist any charity in Australia and the opportunity to donate to a charity of your choice through workplace giving. Alongside these, we run campaigns and events each year raising awareness and funds for charity organisations nominated by our staff.
Community
Discover what it's like to work at Mainbrace and meet the teams helping build a better tomorrow.
It’s fair to say that some still feel construction is a man’s world.
We think differently.
There are always opportunities at Mainbrace, no matter your gender. Working with like-minded people, having opportunities to try new things and show what you can do has brought out my confidence.
We’re committed to achieving 30% female participation by 2030.
Getting to 30% by ‘30’ would see us achieve more than double the industry average, and we’ve got lots happening to help us get there.
We are particularly focused on attracting more females to our project delivery teams and feel as though our project environments and culture are really appealing for females.
About our culture and why it matters
Our culture is supportive, welcoming to everyone and prioritises inclusivity, always. We reject stereotypes and are moving past old-school mentalities. Instead, we’ve laid down the challenge to everyone in our business to call out bias and inequality whenever they see it – and to do it with purpose, knowing we’ve got their back.
Everyone at Mainbrace is alert to the potential for inequality and is proactive about addressing it. It’s something we expect of our people, and we’re a better company because of it.
Our diversity is an advantage
We need different perspectives to be our best for our clients and ourselves. This means providing everyone the opportunity to be heard, challenged and achieve their goals.
We support everyone to build their ideal career at their pace, whatever that looks like.
